"TwinCam"

I had an EPP camera pod that I built for the 2m flying wing.
I thought it might work well on the Twinstar so
I set it up during the "Southwest Classic" soaring contest.
Here are some pictures from the plane and a couple shots of the set up.

The impound tent can be seen in front of the wing tip.

I think there was a smudge on the left side of the lens!

A herd of RV's and the impound tent.

The area at the top of the photo was used as a practice
field during the week. This was a good location for the event
even if it was a long drive.

The camera pod was taped on to the top of the wing for the flight.

There is a servo in a pocket over the shutter button.
I run the lead to the retract channel (#5) and use the
switch on the TX. to take the shots.

Back to the twinstars.

Home.
