The sub micro servos are not recommended for extreme bungee launching.

    This little airplane is incredible, It can be bungee launched to incredible altitude 
and then it can slow down and thermal. It is very efficient in light lift and 
remains maneuverable even when stalled! It can fly fast or slow down to
 a crawl with a couple high angle of attack maneuvers. 

  It can hold it's own in combat even though it only weighs 10 to 12 oz.

  The Avro has a unique airfoil that is the key to it's performance. 

  This is one of the most fun planes I have owned. It is capable of 300ft. 
to 350ft. launches on a 20ft. bungee and is so maneuverable that 
I fly it from my front yard.   It is capable of looping in a 10ft. circle. 
The Avro launches higher with 20ft. of open class rubber than most bungee 
planes launch with 25ft. of the huge 5/8" rubber. We don't use the nose section

  anymore, The plane flies better without it, but I will put one in the kit if you request it.

This flying site is a fairly remote
desert area with HUGE thermals.
We use this site for aerotowing larger scale sailplanes.

You can use just about any shape for a rudder and the plane
is easily customized like the one above.

Kit includes: Foam wing cores, balsa elevons, coroplast rudder and spars.  
The kit takes about 4 to 6 hours to build and you'll need some liquid 
contact cement, a sanding block, filament tape and some sign vinyl or 
the covering of your choice. I have found that the 3m colored packing 
tape is the best covering material for this plane due to its stiffness. 
I was able to almost double my launch height after recovering with the tape.
